I taught traditional “10 toes to the rim” shooting for 20 years. When I was introduced to “the turn” I was completely against it. The more I studied it, the more it made sense. I am 100% sold on this technique. I have seen firsthand the improvement it can make in a players shot. Slightly turning your body to align your shooting shoulder to the rim takes away your right and left misses as a shooter. If you can reduce your misses by 50%, you can’t help but become a better shooter.
